Mon. Sept. 15th

ALGEBRA
In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, handed in assignments, and took the chapter 2 quiz.
Assignment: Read pages 108-110 then do page 111, exercises 1-15.

PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, returned and recorded the integer subtraction assignment packet, and integer subtraction quiz. Introduced the division of integers and order of operations.
Assignment. Complete the worksheet page 2 on division of integers, which is on the back of Friday’s worksheet.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students filled out their planners and talked about the week’s activities.
In Class: Students watched the Grammar Rocks video and took notes on it. Students have a review packet over prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.
Assignment: Review packet due tomorrow. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter.

HISTORY
In class: We read and discussed the Townshend Act and started to learn about the Boston Massacre. Notes were taken on the Townshend Acts., Boston Massacre, and the Boston Tea Party. Read sections 5.5 - 5.6 in the text and completed the worksheets.
Assignment: Finish the worksheet and get the notes you need.

SCIENCE
In Class: We logged the moon for the weekend. Moon phase labs were handed in with all questions completed. Eclipse notes were taken.
Assignment: Last night for the moon watch. New constellation to look at. Get your sky sheet caught up and your logs. Notes to take.
Journal: Journal entry #11 today. See attached sheet.
