ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote a self-reflection about their efforts in English and on AR.
In Class: Students reviewed for a Parts of Speech test over prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, adjectives, adverbs, and S/O pronouns. A review sheet was given to students.
Assignment: Parts of Speech test tomorrow. Finish review sheet. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter. End of the quarter is October 17.
HISTORY
In class: Discussed chapter 5 test. Read excerpt from Common Sense by Thomas Paine.
Assignment: Pamphlet activity (due on Tuesday)
SCIENCE
In Class: We put our portfolios together of our work from the moon unit. Quizzes were handed back. We updated grade sheets. New lab partners were given. A discussion was started on moon exploration.
Assignment: Pick up your work from the side counter and start a portfolio.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
