In Class: Returned and recorded the Chapter assignment grade on page 19 of the planner. Reviewed solving multiplication and division equations. Be sure to show your step, solve, then check your solution mentally.

PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Filled out planners for the week. Returned and recorded the integer assignment grades on page 19 of the planner. Reviewed order of operations and practiced problems from the assignment.
Assignment. Complete the order of operations exercises on pages 6-7 of the worksheet handed out in class today. Be sure to show your work. The answers to the exercises were given and students copied them on the top of worksheet page 6.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Fill out planners for the week.
In Class: Students played interactive comma game for introduction to punctuation. Students discussed compound sentence and items in a series comma rules.
Assignment: Comma worksheet p. 165-66 due Tuesday. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter. End of the quarter is October 17.
HISTORY
In class Discussed the battle of Bunker Hill and Washington’s problems with the Continental Army. Students completed a notes worksheet in class.
SCIENCE
In Class: We reviewed observation and inference today. We used paragraphs and a picture. See Mrs. Hanson for the instructions.

Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. Be sure journal #13 is done and in your notebook.
