ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced simplifying expressions using addition and subtraction of like terms, and evaluated the simplified expression.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page A-28, A-29.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: returned and recorded the integer addition assignment packet grade on page 19 of the planner. Students then averaged their grades to find their pre-algebra grade. Practiced subtraction of integers by adding the opposite.
Assignment. Complete pages 5-6 on the subtraction of integers. Rewrite the expression by adding the opposite.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students played an interactive verb game.
In Class: Students reviewed helping verbs; there will be a quiz tomorrow. We discussed verb tense. Students are to read p. 528-531.
Assignment: Students have a helping verb quiz tomorrow. Read p. 528-531. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter.
HISTORY
In class: Students read and discussed section 5.3 in their textbooks. Students also participated in a simulation of the Proclamation of 1763 and the Stamp Act.

SCIENCE
In Class: We logged the moon for weekend Predictions were done for Sunday and Monday nights. Moon outline notes were continued.
