In Class: Spent a short amount of time discussing chapter 2 sections 1-4, then took the pretest over these sections.

In Class: Handed in assignments and took the integer addition quiz.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote sentences in their journals using the six linking verbs.
In Class: Students reviewed transitive/intransitive verbs and took quiz. We handed in ex. 12, 13, 14. We discussed helping verbs in class and filled out a chart with all 23 in it.
Assignment: Students are to memorize helping verbs. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter.
HISTORY
In class: Reviewed Chapters 4 and 5 vocabulary words for quiz on Friday. Worked on picture search and vocabulary worksheet during class. Worksheet handed in at end of class.
Assignment: *Vocabulary quiz on Friday.
SCIENCE
In Class: We logged the moon for Wed. night. Definitions were put into our notes for lucida, circumpolar, and ecliptic line. We finished the “Down on the Moon” activity.
Assignment: Moon Watch begins Aug. 31st. New constellation to look at. Get your sky sheet caught up and your logs. Get your three definitions.
