8-4 Assignments Date: Oct. 27-28-29, 2008

ITBS TESTING FOR THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF THIS WEEK. THESE ASSIGNMENTS ARE THE ONES FROM THURSDAY WHEN WE LAST MET WITH OUT STUDENTS IN REGULAR CLASSES. WE WILL RESUME A NORMAL SCHEDULE ON THURSDAY OF THIS WEEK. (OCT. 30TH)

ALGEBRA
In Class: Continued graphing linear equations on a coordinate axis using the x and y intercept.
Assignment: If you were absent, read page 218-219 before doing worksheet pages C-40 and C-41.

PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Took notes on prime and composite numbers, and worked on a divisibility rules worksheet, practiced listing all the factors, and prime factorization.
Assignment. Page 223-224 exercises 2-30 even, 36.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: None
In Class: Students reviewed compound formulas and did examples. We broke into groups to do worksheets.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 2nd term.

HISTORY
In class: Chapter 8 Quiz. Continued our discussion and listed pros and cons of the electoral college.

SCIENCE
In Class: The metric conversion worksheets were graded and handed in. We reviewed the metric pretest for any questions. Reading was started in the book on matter. We practiced estimating.
Assignment: Finish your metric worksheet.
Journal: See attached sheet.
