ALGEBRA
In Class: Answered questions over the chapter review. Used dry eraser boards to review for the chapter 3 Test.
Assignment: Organize assignments and make corrections in the packet and be ready to hand it in before the test.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Continued to practice writing large numbers using scientific notation was reviewed and we introduced writing numbers less than 1 using negative exponents . We also practiced writing numbers from scientific notation to standard form. We used dry eraser boards to practice before working on the assignment.
Assignment. Make arrangements to retake assessments if you were did not get a proficient score. Complete worksheet pages 3,4 and 5 over scientific notation.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did a Daily Language Practice. You need to get this from Mrs. Micek.
In Class: Students took notes on figurative language. We are working on group 6 Traits presentations. These will be on Thursday.
Assignment: Work on 6 Traits presentations. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter. End of the quarter is October 17.
HISTORY
In class: Students were given a study guide for the test on Thursday. We started our review for the test… which happens to be on Thursday.
Assignment: Did I mention there is a test on Thursday? Because, there is a test on Thursday. Studying for it would be a great idea!
SCIENCE
In Class: Scientific Method Experiments were started in the written form. All steps need to be written and checked before you start running the experiment. Use the cheat sheet handed out to check all steps yourself first.
Assignment: Step 1-3 of the experiment should be written. Four is being worked on. We want to run the experiments on Wed.
