ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced solving formulas and equations for a given variable.
Assignment: On page 177-178 complete exercises 11-14,15-27 odd,34-39.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Practiced graphing linear equations, and graphing points on a coordinate axis. Organized the assignments to be handed in on Friday.
Assignment. Complete the two sided graphing worksheet handed out today in class. Give the quadrant or axis for each of the points at the bottom of the Locating Points worksheet.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students went over answers on review sheet.
In Class: Students took the punctuation test today.
Assignment: Grade sheets must be signed and returned for a grade. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter. End of the quarter is October 17.
HISTORY
In class Students discussed The Battle of Saratoga, Valley Forge and worked on notes packet.
SCIENCE
In Class: Antacid lab run today. We will be writing conclusions and identifying variables tomorrow. Lab contracts were handed out and talked through for lab expectations.
Assignment: Read through the lab contract. Come in and do the antacid lab.
