Friday - Nov. 21st

ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed writing an equation in slope intercept form given a graph, a point and a slope, or two points.
Assignment: Complete page 291, exercises 1-13; pick up graph a piece of graph paper.

PRE-ALGEBRA Introduced the solving of two-step equations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Assignment: Complete all of worksheet 1, then do 1-6 on worksheet 2.
Be sure to show your work and check your answer.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote a journal about Scrooge’s character.
In Class: We finished listening to Stave 1 of ACC. We filled out study guides as we listened. Study guides will be graded on Monday.
Assignment: Students should be working on ACC projects. Students should be reading AR books for 2nd term.

HISTORY
In class: Started Learning the first 10 amendments. Students worked on amendment flash cards.
Assignment: Amendment flash cards due Monday.

SCIENCE
In Class: “Still Dense About Density” worksheets were completed and handed in. We talked about Archimedes Principle of displacement. Venn diagrams were done to review the three states of matter and their characteristics. Review sheets were worked on.
Assignment: Finish your review sheet and the “Still Dense” worksheet. They need to be handed in.
Journal: Venn Diagram done for review. Fill yours in.
