ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed slope-intercept form, point-slope form, and standard form of an equation in preparation for the chapter 5 test.
Assignment: Organized assignments to be handed in on Monday. Study for the test.
PRE-ALGEBRA Reviewed solving equations using the distributive property, solving 2-step equations, and 1-step equations using dry eraser boards. Handed in assignments and took the equations assessment.
Assignment: Be kind to your family this weekend.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students shared prewriting worksheets with partners.
In Class: Students finished reading Stave 3 of ACC and answering study guide questions. We also handed in a descriptive writing prewriting activity. Remember to keep up with your ACC packets.
Assignment: Students should be working on ACC projects. Students should be reading AR books for 2nd term.
HISTORY
In class: Took quiz over chapter 11.
SCIENCE
In Class: Constellation of the Month was done for the month of December today. We reviewed how to find the parts of the atom, checked the worksheets from yesterday, and started working on the Atomic Structure worksheet.
Assignment: Hand in your practice sheets to be checked. Look over the attached info. for the new constellation. See Mrs. Hanson with any questions.
