ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed solving absolute value equations, compound inequalities, and inequalities.
Assignment: Complete the review worksheet in preparation for the Chapter 6 quiz on Wednesday.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the Pythagorean Theorem and the sides of a right triangle.
Assignment: Page 266 exercises 2-16 even, 17-18. Be sure to write the formula, show the substitution and get the answer, round to the nearest tenth.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students filled out planners.
In Class: We played ACC math game in groups. Students received ACC banquet invitations. Students took a Stave 4-5 quiz for ACC.
Assignment: ACC projects are due on Tuesday! Study packets are due on Wednesday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Read and analyzed America’s early foreign policy under Washington and Adams. Discussed the concepts of neutrality and isolationsism.
Experience at Home: Review vocabulary flashcards (quiz on Wed.) and study chapter 12 notes (for quiz on Wed.).
SCIENCE
In Class: Research for the brochures. We finished data sheet #2, and most of #3. Pick up the sheets and keep working. All sheets need to be handed in and checked off. We are looking for pictures and will be word processing information starting tomorrow.
Assignment: Be sure any make up work is taken care of. Constellation of the month to look at.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
