Thurs. - Dec. 4th

ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed slope-intercept form, point-slope form, and standard form of an equation.
Assignment: Complete page 324, exercises 1-21. Be sure to study the example before beginning the questions in each sections review.

PRE-ALGEBRA Reviewed solving equations using the distributive property, solving 2-step equations, and 1-step equations using dry eraser boards. Organized assignments to be handed in on Friday.
Assignment: Make corrections and finish up the assignments on pages 1-6, be sure you have solved each equation, shown your steps and the work to check your answer.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students finished quiz over Stave 2.
In Class: Students began reading Stave 3 of ACC and answering study guide questions. We also discussed a descriptive writing assignment and did a prewriting activity. Remember to keep up with your ACC packets.
Assignment: Prewriting activity due Friday. Students should be working on ACC projects. Students should be reading AR books for 2nd term.

HISTORY
In class: Character sketch of the Alexander Hamilton and the Federalist Party.
Assignment: 3 Branches of Government Analogy (Due TOMORROW!!!!)

SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the notes on the periodic table, what an atom is and how to find the three parts of the atom.
Assignment: Get the notes and the two practice sheets on the parts of the atom.
Journal: See attached sheet.

YOU HAVE TWO DAYS FOR EACH DAY YOU ARE ABSENT TO TURN IN YOUR MAKE-UP WORK.
