In Class: Used the unit rates on your yellow information sheet to change to equivalent rates. Finished taking notes and organized assignments to be handed in on Wednesday.
Assignment: Complete page 285, exercises 35-45
ALGEBRA
In class: Introduced exponential growth formula and applied it to population growth and compound interest.
Assignment: Complete page 480 exercises 6-16, 18-23. Pick up a piece of graph paper if you were absent.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Review of literary elements vocabulary
In Class: Assessment 8.1.4. completed in class
Assignment: Began working on vocabulary worksheet from “To Build a Fire.” Due 3-06

In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, reviewed equivalent units of measure, and used the unit ratios on your yellow information sheet to change between units of measure and rates. Took notes on changing rates to an equivalent form.
Assignment: Get the notes if you were absent. Complete Dimensional Analysis 1 worksheet.
ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner of the week, introduced scientific notation.
Assignment: Complete page 473 exercises 16-56 even, 61, 64, 65, 66a.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Introduced Spelling 8 (quiz on Thursday)
In Class: Students reviewed assessment over all elements of literature in preparation for 8.1.4.
Assignment: Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
Assessment 8.1.4 will be given on Tuesday. Study.
