In class: Goal: Learn to solve a system of equations using graphing.
Assignment: Page 401 exercises 12-26 even, 35-36.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Goal: Prepare for the assessment.
Assignment: Make corrections in the packet, study for the assessment, and be prepared to hand in the assignments on Friday.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students practiced spelling/vocab words and literary terms.
In Class: Students discussed good leads and wrote new leads for object essay. We began our word choice packet.
Assignment: Spelling/vocabulary quiz 2 on Friday. Students should be reading AR books for 3rd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experience at School: Discussed Indian Removal Act and Trail of Tears. Finished notes.
Assignment: QUIZ TOMORROW!!!! You may want to bring notes packet to class… hint.
SCIENCE
In Class: Students worked on the Periodic Table Review Worksheet (Journal #31) for about 10-15 minutes. This should help prepare them for their quiz tomorrow. They spent the remaining time doing their brochure tour.
Assignment: Study for tomorrow’s element symbol quiz. Get out and look at the constellation of the month.
