Pre Algebra
In Class: Goal: to develop measurement sense.
Returned and recorded the assignment packet grade for estimating percents.
Assignment: Complete page 284 (1-30).
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did a journal over the “Reformation” story.
In Class: Students worked on the packet for Retrieved Reformation and will have a quiz tomorrow.
Assignment: Reformation packet and quiz tomorrow. Students should be reading AR books for 3rd term points. Book points are due by March 5th!
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students began chapter 19. We discussed and read about the climate and physical features of the North and the South (sections 19.1 – 19.3 in the textbook). We placed the information on a graphic organizer.
SCIENCE
In Class: Students finished testing minerals and naming them today. Tomorrow we will focus on uses of the ten minerals we tested.
Assignment: Finish naming minerals if not done. Go out and look at the new constellation.
