Thursday - April 23rd

ALGEBRA
In class: Factoring polynomials with leading coefficients.
Assignment: WS B-39

Pre Algebra
In Class: Goal: To find the surface area of cylinders
Assignment: Pg 451-452 (1,11,14-18)

ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students took the pilot state reading test and worked on their persuasive essays. They should be working on their stamp essay packets.
Assignment: Persuasive essay final copy due on Monday, April 27. Students should be reading AR books for 4th term points.

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students discussed the “Anaconda Plan” and illustrated the Battle of Bull Run (Manassas).

SCIENCE
In Class: Parts of the earth picture was finished with color-coding and information for each layer. We did a boundary review picture and started the Bill Nye video. We used the books for information on the layers of the earth.
Assignment: Keep working on your review sheet. Get out and look at the new constellation.
Journal: No entry. We used the time to review and get materials.
