In class: Goal: Adding and Subtracting Polynomials

Pre Algebra
In Class: Goal: Remember the basics of circles.
Assignment: Compare the diameter and circumference of a common circular household item.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students looked at procedures for the state reading test.
In Class: Students read Act 2 scene 1 in class of Anne Frank. We began reading scene 2.
Assignment: Read scene 2 for Wednesday. Holocaust/Anne Frank test on Friday. Students should be reading AR books for 4th term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students discussed the Dred Scott Case. Student divided into small groups and wrote 3 arguments for each side of the case and a final decision.
SCIENCE
In Class: We did an activity with puzzle pieces to help with the understanding of plate tectonics. We worked on finishing the web with the reading from the book on the three theories.
Assignment: Get your web caught up. Get out and look at the new constellation.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
