In class: Worked on solving radical expressions.

In Class: Practiced finding the volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids and cones.
Goal: Know the volume formulas.
Assignment: Volume Worksheet II: Name the shape, give the formula, substitution, and answer labeled in cubic units.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students received grade sheets.
In Class: Students worked on packets for Gentlehands. We reviewed for our test.
Assignment: Work on packets for Gentlehands. Test on Wednesday. Students should be reading AR books for 4th term points. Final day to earn points is May 18, 2009.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Test Review: Jeopardy
Assignment: Study for Civil War Test on Wed. (Students have materials needed to study).
SCIENCE
In Class: We handed in the soil texturing lab sheet after finishing the questions on the back. We reviewed physical and chemical weathering with pictures. Soil Erosion worksheets were done using the reading out of the book.
Assignment: Get out and look at the new constellation. Hand in your soil texture sheet. Do the reading and get the questions answered on the soil erosion sheet. Keep working on your review sheet.
