NAME___________________________________

ALGEBRA
In class: Practiced multiplying with the distributive property and simplifying the expression.
Assignment: Complete Page 104, exercises 51-69, 70-82.

Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed writing subtraction of integers by adding the opposite.
Assignment: Complete worksheet pages 7-8, when subtracting be sure to rewrite the expression by adding the opposite before evaluating.

English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners.
In Class: We reviewed our flashcards with partners. Students worked on vocabulary for “Reformation.”
Assignment: Flashcard quiz on Friday and Bingo square 3 due on Friday. Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students discussed their chapter 5 vocabulary analogies. Students then read and discussed p. 68 – 69 in the textbook. We examined the causes of the Townshend Acts, the colonial response to them and the impact on British merchants.


SCIENCE
In Class: We took notes on the electromagnetic spectrum. We also recorded grades on our pink grade sheets and handed them in. Quiz is tomorrow on the electromagnetic spectrum. We reviewed today. Use your notes, readings, and worksheets to study.
Assignment: Study for the quiz. We made a list in our journal of what will be on the quiz.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. We reviewed each other for the quiz on Tuesday. Material to study: Layers of the sun and characteristics. Electromagnetic spectrum waves of energy. Uses for the spectrum waves. Visible light colors. Relationship between wavelengths and strength of the radiation waves.
