ALGEBRA
In class: Students filled out their planners for the week. Algebra Tests were returned and recorded on page 19 of the planner. Introduced solving equations in addition and subtraction.
Assignment: Page 135 exercises 14-40 even, 42-51.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Students filled out their planner for the week. Returned and recorded the integer assessment and packet. Introduced expressions with exponents.
Assignment: Complete Reteaching worksheet 2-6.
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners and did journal 6.
In Class: We picked between two stories and read for comprehension. Students took a quiz over either “Medicine Bag” or “11:59.”
Assignment: Short story test on Thursday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students were given back chapter 5 tests. Students found and plotted the events that led to the Revolutionary War on a timeline. Students explained the cause and effect relationship between two given events.
Assignment: Timeline and Cause and Effect ws (Due Tomorrow)
SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Watch information was logged for the long weekend. We drew the moons onto our white sky sheet and made our first predictions. New lab partners were given. We worked on the moon notes.
Assignment: Keep going with the moon watch. Some of you need the extra credit. Get caught up on your moon logs. You need to have your journal entries for Mrs. Emken stamped by Mrs. Hanson.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
