Pre Algebra
In Class: Introduced subtraction of integers using integer tiles.
Assignment: Complete worksheet pages 1-4, be sure to draw the pictures of the integer tiles.
English
Bell Work: Students did journal number 4 today.
In Class: We continued reading “Tell-Tale Heart” and took notes. The quiz is tomorrow.
Assignment: Tell-Tale packet due tomorrow. Second square of writing bingo due Sept. 11. Begin reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students finished discussion of the Quartering Act and were given back their test on chapter 4.
Assignment: Quiz on Friday (chapter 5.1 – 5.3).
SCIENCE
In Class: Reading on the electromagnetic waves and their uses.
Assignment: Finish your reading and hilight. Light labs were handed in today.
Get out and look at the stars!!
