ALGEBRA
In class: Returned the quiz and students worked on corrections. Answered student questions on yesterdays reading and exercises 1-15.
Assignment: Page 111, exercises 17-55, 58-59.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Handed in assignments and took the integer quiz.
Assignment: Complete Worksheet #1 (A-21).
English
Bell Work: Students worked on bingo 3 and reviewed flashcards.
In Class: We played a flashcard game to review for our literary quiz. We worked in groups to complete our “Reformation” packet. Students handed in during reading wkst.
Assignment: Reformation quiz and Flashcard quiz on Friday. Bingo square 3 due on Friday. Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students discussed cause and effect. We created a cause and effect chart of the French & Indian War through the Boston Tea Party. In addition, students read and discussed section 5.7 in the textbook (The Intolerable Acts and 1st Continental Congress).
Assignment: None… But, there is a quiz tomorrow (chapter 5)
SCIENCE
In Class: The “Moon Watch” information was completed. Sky sheets were drawn to use for logging of he moon. Top Ten Moon Facts sheet needs to be finished by Friday.
Assignment: Get your parent moon watch letter signed. Find a good viewing place to look at the moon. Read and hilight the last five of the Top Ten Moon Facts.
Journal: We took a five point quiz on the moon information.
