Pre Algebra
In Class: Introduced evaluating expressions using the three-step method, assignments were organized in class today.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page 9. Be sure to rewrite the expression completely, substituting the value of the variable for the integer assigned to it.
English
Bell Work: Students reviewed sentence types and took a quiz.
In Class: We handed back papers and took our life maps down. Students received grade sheets. We introduced “Reformation” and did a group pre-reading activity.
Assignment: Flashcard quiz on Friday and Bingo square 3 due on Friday. Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students analyzed a picture of the Boston Massacre, created by Paul Revere. Students then watched a couple video clips from “John Adams” during the trial of the British troops accused of murder during the Boston Massacre.
Assignment: Students are to draw a picture of what really happened during the Boston Massacre.
SCIENCE
In Class: We took a quiz on the layers of the sun and the electromagnetic spectrum. Schedule a time to take the quiz.
Assignment: Study and take your quiz.
Journal: No entry. We reviewed each other with pictures and notes.
