Tuesday - Sept. 29th

ALGEBRA
In class: Algebra packets were returned and recorded on page 19 of the planner. Introduced solving equations involving multiplication and division.
Assignment: Page 142-143 exercises 14-44 even, 49-53, 56.

Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced expressions with exponents using dry eraser boards.
Assignment: Complete Practice worksheet 2-6.

English
Bell Work: Students practiced flashcards.
In Class: We played review game over literary terms in partner groups. We began to read “A Spark Neglected.”
Assignment: Short story test on Thursday! Bingo 4 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students read and discussed chapter 6.1 & 6.2 in the textbook. Students created a pro & con list analyzing the question of independence from Britain.
Assignment: No Assignment


SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Watch information was logged and we drew the moons onto our white sky sheet. We made our second predictions.
We worked on the moon notes. Get caught up on those.
Assignment: Keep going with the moon watch. Some of you need the extra credit. Get caught up on your moon logs. Journal entries 1-10 will be handed in on Wed.
Journal: Logs were stamped, journal entries were put in order.
