ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in assignments, took the chapter 2 quiz.
Assignment: Read pages 108-110, complete exercises 1-15.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced adding and subtracting integers, evaluating expressions using the three-step method, and using integer tiles to show the subtraction model in class today in preparation for Thursday’s Quiz.
Assignment: Have your packet ready to hand in by making corrections, and review for the integer quiz.
English
Bell Work: Students wrote journal 5 today.
In Class: We worked in groups and presented our pre-reading activity. We listened to “Reformation” and started our during reading worksheet.
Assignment: Finish “Reformation” and during reading worksheet for Thursday. Flashcard quiz on Friday and Bingo square 3 due on Friday. Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to explain the cause and effect of the Boston Tea Party. In addition, we had a tea party celebrating the colonists boycott of British tea.
Assignment: Students are to finish their story maps of the British Tea Party.
SCIENCE
In Class: The “Moon Watch” information was started. We generated a list of the differences between the sun, the earth, and the moon. Top Ten Moon Facts sheet was handed out. See the attached sheets.
Assignment: Get your parent moon watch letter signed. Find a good viewing place to look at the moon. Read and hilight the first five of the Top Ten Moon Facts.
Journal: Entry #8. See attached sheet.
