Friday - Oct. 2nd

ALGEBRA
In class: Continued solving equations involving variables on both sides of an equation.
Assignment: Page 157, exercises 13-37 even.
Be sure to show your work.

Pre Algebra
In Class: Evaluated expressions, be sure to use substitution and order of operations to solve.
Assignment: Complete Worksheet Pages 4-5, be sure to show all the steps.

English
Bell Work: We handed back papers and cleaned out trappers.
In Class: We looked over MAP results and set goals for December. Students finished Bingo 4 and handed them in.
Assignment: Bingo 5 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Philosophy Friday!!! Students discussed the purpose and impact of lying. Students analyzed the lie George Washington told the British regarding the amount of gunpowder the Continental Army had.
Assignment: History-Tac-Toe Due on the 14th


SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Watch information was logged and we drew the moons onto our white sky sheet. Moon phase lab was started today. We will finish up on Monday.
Assignment: Keep going with the moon watch. Some of you need the extra credit. Get caught up on your moon logs.
Journal: Logs were stamped. No other entry.

YOU HAVE TWO DAYS FOR EACH DAY YOU ARE ABSENT TO TURN IN YOUR MAKE-UP WORK.
