Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced graphing and naming ordered pairs on a coordinate axis.
Assignment: Page 170 exercises 1-35
English
Bell Work: We handed in our bingos and reviewed for our quiz.
In Class: Students took a helping verb quiz. We reviewed nouns, verbs, prepositions on white boards. Students have a preposition worksheet.
Assignment: Noun, verb, prep worksheets due on Monday. Bingo 6 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: We discussed some basic military procedures/strategies used during the Revolutionary War. Students acted out strategies and analyzed Washington’s defeat by the British in the Battle of New York.
Assignment: History-Tac-Toe due on Wednesday!!!!
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the eclipse notes today and watched a short video. We spent the rest of the time reviewing for the moon quiz. Finish your moon worksheet and your review sheet for the quiz. Study!!
Assignment: Study for the quiz using your notes, labs, and review sheet.
Journal: We started reviewing for the quiz.
