In class: Filled out the planner for the week and reviewed for the chapter 3 quiz.
Assignment: Organize assignments to be handed in Tuesday. Study of quiz.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Evaluated expressions, be sure to use substitution and order of operations to solve.
Assignment: Complete Worksheet Pages 6-7, be sure to show all the steps.
English
Bell Work: We filled out planners today.
In Class: We started our new Sentence Structure unit. We watched the Grammar Rock DVD and took notes to review the parts of speech.
Assignment: Bingo 5 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students finished chapter 6. We completed our notes, discussed the revisions of the Declaration of Independence and watched a reading of the Declaration.
Assignment: Decoding the Declaration WS Due Tomorrow, Chapter 6 Mini-test on Wed.
SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Watch information was logged and we drew the moons onto our white sky sheet. Last predictions were done for tonight and everyone should be finding the moon for credit tonight!! We worked on the questions on the moon phases lab. (1-3)
Assignment: Keep going with the moon watch. Some of you need the extra credit. This is the last night. Moon Watches will be handed in tomorrow!!
Journal: Logs were stamped. Planners filled in. Journal #11 See attached sheet.
