ALGEBRA
In class: Worked on the chapter review and answered questions on rates, ratios and unit rates.
Assignment: On page 190-192 exercises 1-34
Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced graphing linear equations by completing a table of values.
Assignment: Complete Reteaching worksheet 4-2 and the two practice problems on back.
English
Bell Work: We filled out our planners today and students received graded papers.
In Class: Students took notes on subjects and verbs and practiced using the formula in class. We have a spelling/vocab quiz on Friday. We handed in a Parts of Speech packet—see Mrs. Micek.
Assignment: Do pages 12 and 13 in packet. Bingo 6 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students read and discussed section 7.4 in the textbook. Students then completed the first two pages of their chapter 7 note packet. We looked at the role of African Americans during the Revolutionary War and the motivation for the Americans fighting the British.
Assignment: History-Tac-Toe due on Wednesday!!!!
SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Quiz was taken today. We sorted through our science folders and started our portfolios. Get a folder from Mrs. Hanson.
Assignment: Take the quiz and hand in your phases lab and review sheet.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
