Monday - October 19th

ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner for the week and checked the review on pages 196-197. Plan to hand in the review on Tuesday.
Introduced the coordinate axis.
Assignment: Page 206-207, 10-26 even, 27-32.

Pre Algebra
In Class: Filled out planner for the week and introduced scientific notation. Returned assessments, and packet if completed. Please make arrangements to get your packet handed in to me.
Assignment: Worksheet pages 1 -2.s


English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners and handed in journals 1-10 today.
In Class: Students reviewed for pos, s-v, simple sentence test today. We did pp. 18-19, 25, 28 in class as a review.
Assignment: POS, S-V, and Simple Sentence test on Tuesday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points. They are due on October 21st!!

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to describe the “new” British and American strategies for the war. Students should also be able to explain how the battle of Saratoga was a turning point in the war and what happened at Valley Forge.
Students viewed a power point presentation and completed a 7.6 notes sheet.

Assignment: Students have a coded message they can decipher for extra credit… or, create their own.

SCIENCE
In Class: We reviewed observation and inference. We started the variable packet for variable review.
Assignment: Finish the variable examples up to #9.
Journal: Fill out your planner - See attached sheet.
