ALGEBRA
In class: Introduced the x and y intercept.
Assignment: Page 221, 14-40 even, please record the answer as an ordered pair.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed writing numbers in standard form to scientific notation, and writing numbers in scientific notation to standard form.
Assignment: Organized assignments and complete page 105 exercises 1-46.
English
Bell Work: Check category wall
In Class: Students took vocab quiz. After quiz they divided into 6 groups and each group were given a “boring word” and came up with 8 replacement words that were more exciting. (“Spider” hands on activity)
Assignment: None
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students read and discussed the last section of chapter 7. Students should be able to list the key points of the Treaty of Paris. In addition, students had a “history duel” and were given a study guide for chapter 7.
Assignment: Chapter 7 Test is next Tuesday!!!
SCIENCE
In Class: Reading was finished on the four states of matter. We added characteristics into our notes on each state. We started the State of Matter Chart activity. Element choices were handed in for the brochures. Grades were recorded on the grade sheet.
Assignment: Hand in your element choice sheet. Get the notes and reading done.
