ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in assignments and took the quiz over chapter 3.
Assignment: Read pages166-168 and on page 169, complete exercises 1-13.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Used dry eraser boards to review for Wednesday’s assessment. Be sure to know the order of operations to evaluated expressions, and when given an expression using variables be sure to use substitution and order of operations to solve.
Assignment: Make corrections on the assignment and be ready to hand in assignments.
English
Bell Work: We filled out AR point sheets today. They need a parent signature!
In Class: Students reviewed the parts of speech by taking a diagnostic test. They received their sentence structure packets and numbered them. We discussed nouns.
Assignment: Noun worksheet due tomorrow. Bingo 5 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students finished chapter 6. We completed our notes, discussed the revisions of the Declaration of Independence and watched a reading of the Declaration.
Assignment: Decoding the Declaration WS Due Tomorrow, Chapter 6 Mini-test on Wed.
Students did Ch.6 study guide in class reviewing for Mini-test tomorrow.
SCIENCE
In Class: Moon Watch information was logged and we drew the moons onto our white sky sheet. The moon watch summary was done today and handed in. Be sure all is caught up and ready to hand in. We started our new “Constellation of the Month.”
Assignment: Finish your moon logs. Get started on the new constellation. We will work on the phases lab questions on Wed.
Journal: Logs were stamped. We recorded the last moon info.
