Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed graphing linear equations by completing a table of values.
Assignment: Complete the 2 worksheets handed out in class today as a review.
English
Bell Work: We did journal 9 today in class. We worked on Bingo 6 during class.
In Class: Students took notes on simple sentence formulas in class. We have a spelling/vocab quiz on Friday. We worked in groups to practice using the magic formula on simple sentence formulas.
Assignment: Do page 26 in packet. Helping verb quiz tomorrow. Bingo 6 due Friday! Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students watched and discussed video clips from “The Real George Washington.” They then created an adjective list for George Washington and examples to support chosen adjectives.
Assignment: History-Tac-Toe due TODAY!!!
SCIENCE
In Class: We went over the Moon Watch grades and recorded them on our grade sheets. Portfolio folders were finished. We did an activity using observation and inference skills.
Assignment: Pick up your graded work, record it, and put it in your folder in the box.
