Assignment: Page 215, 36-50 even, 67-70
Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced writing numbers in standard form from scientific notation, and writing numbers less than one in scientific notation using negative exponents.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page 6.
English
Bell Work: Students added to Journal 11 by choosing a place and telling why they liked it.
In Class: Students discussed paragraph structure. We went to the computer lab and did a brainstorming activity using an interactive graphic organizer.
Assignment: Spelling/Vocab quiz tomorrow. Continue reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points. They are due on October 21st!!
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students completed 7.6 – 7.7 in their notes packet. In addition, students should be able to explain how the Americans were able to capture a victory at Yorktown.
Assignment: Complete all missing work… Tomorrow is the last day of the quarter!!!!
SCIENCE
In Class: We highlighted the periodic table with forty elements. You will be choosing your element for your brochure from these forty. We took a pretest on Matter. Reading was started in the book. We will finish it onThursday.
Assignment: Get your periodic table highlighted and take the pretest. (attached)
