In class: Introduced writing an equation of a line given a point and a slope.
Assignment: Page 282 exercises 13-39 odd. Be sure to show your work.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Organized assignments to be handed in on Monday. Introduced solving one-step equations involving all four operations. Took notes and completed worksheet showing the step, answer and the check of the answer.
Assignment: Complete Practice worksheet 6-1.
English
Bell Work: Students received creative writing journals. These are due at the end of the term.
In Class: Students reviewed compound/complex sentences on the overhead using sentences they wrote yesterday. We fixed our errors and handed in our notecards. We discussed and began pp. 54, 56-57 in packets.
Assignment: Pages 54, 55-57 of Sentence Packet. Spelling 3 and Bingo 3 due on Friday. Read AR books for 2nd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students took a test over chapter 8.
Assignment: Comparing and Contrasting Federalist & Anti-Federalist views ws Due Tomorrow!
Science: All lab work was finished, graphs checked, and conclusion questions were worked on. Some lab teams redid some of their measurements.
Assignment: Conclusion questions will be picked up with the lab work tomorrow.
Journal: See attached sheet.
