Tuesday - November 3rd

ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed vocabulary for chapter 4. Introduced the slope intercept form of an equation.

Assignment: Complete worksheet 4-4

Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed categorizing rational numbers, writing rational numbers from least to greatest and graphing on a number line. Organized assignments to be handed in on Wednesday. Used dry eraser boards to review for the rational number assessment.
Assignment: Make corrections in the packet and study for the Assessment tomorrow

English
Bell Work: Students made edits to their place paragraphs.
In Class: Students worked in partner groups to practice simple, compound, and complex sentence formulas. We finished a worksheet in class.
Assignment: Complex sentences pp. 44, 47 in packet due Wednesday. Sentence structure test on Thursday. Spelling 2 and Bingo 2 due on Thursday. Start reading your AR books for 2nd quarter points!

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to explain how the Constitutional Convention handled issues regarding slavery. Students should also be able to explain the Three-Fifths Compromise, the Virginia Plan, the New Jersey Plan and the Great Compromise. Students completed a guided reading activity sheet over p. 111 & 112 in the textbook.

Assignment: Chapter 8 Vocabulary Quiz on Thursday

SCIENCE
In Class: Volume of regular shaped objects was finished. We started part 2 on volume of irregular shaped objects.
Assignment: Check your answers on the volume lab.
Journal: No entry – time to finish volume measurement numbers.
