In Class: We finished a powerpoint and notes over Charles Dickens. We reviewed for our quiz. Students worked on Stave 1 vocab.
Assignment: Charles Dickens background quiz on Thursday. Stave 1 vocab due Thursday. Return parent permission slips by Friday, November 20, 2009. Read AR books for 2nd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students reviewed the powers of the legislative branch and learned how a bill becomes a law. Students created and passed law (just like congress).
Assignment: Late Poster? Finish it!
Science:
In class: Today we watch a Power Point Presentation on Archimedes Principle: “An object will displace an amount of water equal to its mass.” Students worked on a worksheet reinforcing their knowledge of Density.
