In class: Returned and recorded the Ch 5 Test on page 19 of the planner. Introduced solving and graphing an inequality.
Assignment: Page 337 exercises 22-54 even, 55-64.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Returned and recorded the Real Number quiz. Introduced the Pythagorean Theorem and calculated the length of the hypotenuse given the length of the two legs.
Assignment: Complete the Pythagorean Theorem worksheet using the 4-step method discussed in class.
English
Bell Work: We discussed ACC projects and handed in grade sheets.
In Class: We took a Stave 3 quiz and spelling 4 quiz. We watched the Scott version of Stave 3. Pages 18-21 are due in packet on Monday.
Assignment: Packets should be done through page 21. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Read AR books for 2nd term points—due Dec. 21st.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students reviewed for the test.
Assignment: TEST on MONDAY!!!
Science:
In class: Element notes were finished for the symbols we are learning. Flashcards were checked. Be sure yours are done.
Assignment: Finish all flash cards. Start studying symbols.
Journal: We took a base line quiz on the 41 elements we are learning.
