In class: Returned and recorded the Ch 5 assignment packet on page 19 of the planner, and filled out the planner for the week. Introduced solving multi-step inequality.
Assignment: Page 343 exercises 15-35 odd, 36-39, 43-48.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Returned and recorded the Real Number assignment packet on page 19 of the planner and filled out the planner of the week. Introduced using the Pythagorean Theorem to calculated the length of a leg given the other two sides.
Assignment: Complete the Practice worksheet 10-5 using the 4-step method discussed in class.
English
Bell Work: We filled out our planners and assigned spelling 5 words.
In Class: We listened to Stave 4 and answered questions in class.
Assignment: Packets are due on Thursday. ACC test on Thursday. Spelling 5 quiz on Friday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Read AR books for 2nd term points—due Dec. 21st.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students took a test on chapter 9… The Constitution!
Assignment: N/A
Science:
In class: Notes were taken on the three parts of an atom and how to find them using the periodic table. We started working on the first Atomic structure worksheet.
Assignment: Keep studying symbols. Work on the atomic structure worksheet.
Journal: Note cards were checked for a grade. Planners were filled out for the week.
