Bell Work: Students filled out planners for me.
In Class: We handed in our paragraphs today. Students did compound sentences about Stave 2 in partner groups. We discussed spelling 4 words. We began reading Stave 3.
Assignment: Spelling 4 and Stave 3 quiz on Thursday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Thursday. Read AR books for 2nd term points—all points due on Dec. 21st!!
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to explain why/how national and state powers are separated. Students were given back quizzes to study for the ch.9 test on Wednesday.
Assignment: 3 Branches of Govt. Analogies ws (due Thursday)
Science:
In class: We cleaned out our folders and put graded work into the portfolio folders. New lab partners were given. We took a 20 question spelling test on science words. That was journal #20 so journals were handed in. We started making our flashcards for the 40 elements we highlighted on our periodic tables.
Assignment: Get started on your flashcards.
Journal: Fill out your planner and take your spelling test.
