In class: Handed in assignments and took the Chapter 5 test.
Assignment: Read and study section 6-1.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the classification of real numbers and approximated square roots using a calculator and took the quiz. Introduced right triangles and labeling the legs and hypotenuse.
Assignment: Hand in packets and make arrangements to take you quiz if you were absent. Complete the right triangle worksheet.
English
Bell Work: We practiced our spelling 4 words.
In Class: We finished Stave 3 and answered the discussion questions in class. We worked in partner groups to finish pp. 14, 16-17 in class.
Assignment: Packets should be done through page 17. Stave 3 quiz on Friday. Spelling 4 on Friday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Read AR books for 2nd term points—due Dec. 21st.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Constitutional law review study guide worked on. Test on Monday.
Assignment: Finish your study guide and study for the test.
Science:
In class: We reviewed the elements on the periodic table and flashcards were finished. Finish your flashcards and add Radon – Rn to your list. We marked solids-liquids-gases to your periodic table for natural state of matter. (Ask your partner to help you mark yours.) Record your journal grade for 11-20. We started element notes for the periodic table.
Assignment: Get flashcards done, fix your periodic table, get the notes we started.
Journal: Recorded journal grades and cut out flashcards.
