Bell Work: We worked in partner groups to write complex sentences.
In Class: We read Stave 2 and answered the discussion questions in class.
Assignment: Packets should be done through page 12. Bingo 5 is due on Friday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Thursday. Return parent permission slips by Friday, November 20, 2009. Read AR books for 2nd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to define the term “Checks and Balances” and explain why the founders placed this system in the government. Students also learned about the amendment process and should be able to define/explain the amendment procedure. (Read p. 126 – 127 and answer corresponding questions in notes packet).

Science:
In class: We went over Journal 19 practicing on finding density. We then started the actual lab test. Study if you need to retake the written assessment on Matter and Density.
Assignment: Look over your density info.
Journal: We finished #19 and will attach it to the journal notebook.
