The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students were placed in groups and played the “Powers of the Government” card game. Students were offered a set to take home to help prepare for the quizzes and chapter 9 test.
Assignment: Quiz on Friday… Powers of the Three Branches of Government
Science:
In class: We finished all lab work for the density lab test. Assessments were reworked and handed in. We started looking at this month’s constellation.
Assignment: Get out and look at the moon.
Journal: Attach #19 to your journal. We will hand them in on the next entry.

ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed writing equations in slope-intercept and standard form.
Assignment: Page 324 exercises 1-21 due Friday.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Period 4 only
Reviewed the classification of real numbers and approximated square roots using a calculator.
Assignment: Period 4 should complete the Practice WS 5-9 for Friday.
English
Bell Work: We discussed paragraph writing assignment.
In Class: We finished Stave 2 and answered the discussion questions in class. We watched Scott version of ACC.
Assignment: Packets should be done through page 13. Stave 2 quiz on Friday. Bingo 5 is due on Friday. Paragraphs due on Monday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Read AR books for 2nd term points.

Assignment: Page 311 exercises 24-40 even, 45-47, 51-53.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the classification of real numbers and estimated square roots.
Assignment: Complete the Reteaching WS 5-9.
English
Bell Work: We worked in partner groups to write complex sentences.
In Class: We read Stave 2 and answered the discussion questions in class.
Assignment: Packets should be done through page 12. Bingo 5 is due on Friday. Work on ACC projects—due December 18. Thursday. Return parent permission slips by Friday, November 20, 2009. Read AR books for 2nd term points.

Students also learned about the amendment process and should be able to define/explain the amendment procedure. (Read p. 126 – 127 and answer corresponding questions in notes packet).
Assignment: N/A

In class: We went over Journal 19 practicing on finding density. We then started the actual lab test. Study if you need to retake the written assessment on Matter and Density.
Assignment: Look over your density info.
Journal: We finished #19 and will attach it to the journal notebook.
