In Class: Introduced writing and solving proportions. Organized the assignments for the week.

English
Bell Work: Students discussed adjective exercises and wrote answers in journals.
In Class: Students reviewed notes over descriptive essay structure and lead notes and took a partner quiz. The students read a sample essay and met in groups to work on descriptive packets.
Assignment: 4th page of descriptive packet due Monday. Adjective exercises due on Feb. 11. Read AR books for 3rd term points. State writing assessment will be February 4th and 5th.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students discussed the role of political parties in America today. Took a quiz over ch. 11.2 & 11.3
