Pre Algebra
In Class: Students reviewed converting between fractions, decimals, and percents. Worked on story problems and answered any questions.
Assignment: Study for Assessment 8.1.2 which will be tomorrow.

Bell Work: Students filled out their planners for the week and checked adverbs.
In Class: We finished prompt notes. We worked in small groups on word choice packets. We handed in our simile worksheets.
Assignment: Word choice packet due Tuesday. Creative Writing packets due on Feb. 1. Read AR books for 3rd term points. State writing assessment will be February 4th and 5th.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Read and discussed p.166 – 167 in the textbook and answered 4 comprehension questions. Students should be able to explain how Thomas Jefferson handled the problems with the British, French and Barbary Coast Pirates.
