In Class: Students took the Orleans Hannah Algebra Prognosis Test today.
Assignment: Page 332 in book, numbers 1-6, 13-24 due Wednesday.
English
Bell Work: Students reviewed structure of the essay with a quiz game.
In Class: We took a quiz over writing terms. Students evaluate their object essay using the structure of the essay . We wrote different leads for essay.
Assignment: Object leads due on Wednesday. Creative Writing packets due on Feb. 1. Read AR books for 3rd term points. State writing assessment will be February 4th and 5th.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students compared and contrasted the Federalist and Democratic-Republican views of Alien and Sedition Acts. Students also learned about the Election of 1800 and the results of this wacky election.

In class: Brochure Tour was continued and is almost done. We added to our element list in our journal and started putting them in categories.
Assignment: Finish your brochure tour and add to the elements that you find you use in your life. Which ones are you learning about that affect your life? Make a list of at least 10.
