Pre-Algebra
In Class: Handed back assignment packet and quiz from last week. Students enjoyed a pairs measuring game called Lizzy’s Lines. Legs brain teaser for extra credit.
Assignment: No assignment.
English
Bell Work: Filled out planner.
In Class: Students worked on their pronoun assignment or the newspaper poem assignment. Also, AR reading and tests.
Assignment: Newspaper poem due Tuesday, February 16th. Pronoun exercises due Tuesday, February 16. Read AR books for 3rd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to describe Andrew Jackson’s approach to governing and explain the Nullification Crisis. Students read and discussed p. 189 – 190 in the textbook. Students worked on a worksheet containing vocabulary words and review questions.
Assignment: N/A
Science:
In class: Assessments were handed back and folders cleaned out. We worked on the class periodic table.
Assignment: Go out and look at our new constellation.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
