ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed using the power property to simplifying ratios.
Assignment: Students worked with partners to complete Practice 8-3.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Handed in on assignments and took the units of measure quiz. Reviewed converting from unit to unit and rate to rate using dimensional analysis.
Assignment: Complete Worksheet II.
English
Bell Work: Students reviewed poetry terms in groups.
In Class: Students took a review clicker quiz over poetry terms. We continued to work in DI groups to analyze poetry.
Assignment: Poetry test on Friday. Poetry booklets are due on March 2nd. Read AR books for 3rd term points; book points are due on March 3rd.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Read pages 196 – 199 and worked on Chapter 15 Notes Packet
Assignment: Chapter 15 Vocabulary: Manifest Destiny, Diplomacy, Annex, Converts -- Write the word, draw a picture describing the word, write the definition, and use it in a sentence.
Science:
In class: We did a quick review on reading information from graphs. Variables were picked out. We wrote out a review sheet for the assessment for Wed. Questions were answered on the assessment information. We took a practice assessment.
Assignment: Do the graph questions and take the practice assessment.
Journal: We made a review sheet.
