Pre Algebra
In Class: We are reviewing percent proportions. They have an assessment tomorrow. We went through some example problems in class. Assignments will be handed in on Wednesday.
Assignment: Study for assessment.
English
Bell Work: Students reviewed descriptive essay samples.
In Class: Students took a writing quiz today. Students finished writing sentences over punctuation and capitalization rules.
Assignment: State writing assessment will be February 4th and 5th. Read AR books for 3rd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students worked on geographical research and map skills. Students used a map of the US during the War of 1812 and located/labeled various cities, bodies of water and battles.
Assignment: Finish War of 1812 geography worksheet
Science:
In class: We reviewed physical and chemical changes and properties. We finished up the notes on endo/exothermic and handed in the lab sheet.
Assignment: Hand in your chemical reaction lab.
Journal: Do the attached sheet.
