In Class: Students watched a powerpoint about writing assessment procedures. We wrote goals for the writing assessment using the six traits of writing.
Assignment: State writing assessment will be February 4th and 5th. Read AR books for 3rd term points.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to explain the basic message of the Monroe Doctrine. Students read p. 171 – 171 in the textbook and analyzed political cartoons.
Assignment: Political Cartoon explaining the Monroe Doctrine (Due Thursday)
Science:
In class: Constellation of the Month was done. Get out and look for Taurus. Journals were handed in today.
Assignment: Finish your journal entry and hand it in.
Journal: Do the attached sheet. Get out and look at the new constellation.
